Professional Profile

Interdisciplinary research, data, and product professional with a background spanning neuroscience, clinical healthcare, research infrastructure, digital health, artificial intelligence, scientific communication, and product strategy.

My career has evolved from conducting behavioural and clinical neuroscience research to designing the systems, workflows, products, and communities that enable research and technology to create real-world impact. I have led human-subject research, developed neuroimaging and physiological-data workflows, designed research-data infrastructure, coordinated scientific programs and multidisciplinary communities, developed digital-health research and pilot frameworks, and contributed to AI-enabled product development and commercialization.

I am particularly interested in complex problems at the intersection of science, data, technology, and people: understanding the underlying problem, identifying gaps, translating needs across disciplines, designing appropriate systems or workflows, and developing solutions that are rigorous, usable, reproducible, scalable, and meaningful.

N-DOS — Neural Data Organization Standard

Research Data Infrastructure · Open Science · Reproducibility

Designed a laboratory-level framework addressing neuroscience data organization across the research lifecycle.

N-DOS emerged from a practical gap observed in neuroscience laboratories: community standards such as BIDS and NWB are highly valuable, but substantial inconsistency can emerge before research data reaches the point where those standards are applied. The framework introduces conventions for organizing raw, processed, and analysis data while supporting structured metadata, provenance, validation, reproducibility, project scaffolding, and interoperability with established community standards.
