One of my missions in the field of science and technology is to contribute to endeavours aligned with making science welcoming and inclusive to all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am an advocate for open science and collaborative research, actively contributing to initiatives that promote accessibility and transparency in scientific work. As part of my efforts, I contribute to promotion of Pynapple<\/a>, an open-source neuroscience tool designed to support researchers in analyzing electrophysiology data. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I actively participate in fostering inclusive research environments, organizing scientific events and hackathons, and developing strategies to enhance scientific knowledge-sharing and public engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am a proud volunteer of Neuromatch<\/a> Community, a growing worldwide non-profit movement aiming to provide equitable participation in scientific research. Neuromatch started with neuroscience in the year 2020 and now it is branching to other domains such as climate science. I had the chance to be a part of Neuromatch since it started (see my contribution<\/a> on the year 2020) and I plan to continue contributing to this effort in future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In my current role, I also serve as the Social Media & Communications Manager for R\u00e9seau Sommei<\/a>l (Quebec Sleep Research Network). In my path, after starting to investigate the neuroscience of pain, I joined the community of Quebec Pain Research Network<\/a> which led me to find out about Quebec Network of Junior Pain Investigators<\/a>. This welcoming community gave me the chance to be a part of the organizing committee of one of the biggest events of pain research in Quebec : PAINtalks<\/a>.
