One of my missions in the field of science and technology is to contribute to endeavours aligned with making science welcoming and inclusive to all.
I am an advocate for open science and collaborative research, actively contributing to initiatives that promote accessibility and transparency in scientific work. As part of my efforts, I contribute to promotion of Pynapple, an open-source neuroscience tool designed to support researchers in analyzing electrophysiology data.
I actively participate in fostering inclusive research environments, organizing scientific events and hackathons, and developing strategies to enhance scientific knowledge-sharing and public engagement.
I am a proud volunteer of Neuromatch Community, a growing worldwide non-profit movement aiming to provide equitable participation in scientific research. Neuromatch started with neuroscience in the year 2020 and now it is branching to other domains such as climate science. I had the chance to be a part of Neuromatch since it started (see my contribution on the year 2020) and I plan to continue contributing to this effort in future.
In my current role, I also serve as the Social Media & Communications Manager for Réseau Sommeil (Quebec Sleep Research Network). In addition, I support my supervisor, the co-director of this newly established Quebec thematic network, in various areas beyond communication and social media management.
In my path, after starting to investigate the neuroscience of pain, I joined the community of Quebec Pain Research Network which led me to find out about Quebec Network of Junior Pain Investigators. This welcoming community gave me the chance to be a part of the organizing committee of one of the biggest events of pain research in Quebec : PAINtalks. As of today, I am working as a finance manager and fundraising effort. See my contribution here.
